Asbestos Lead Surveyor Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Lead Surveyor to join our team in the Midlands and work on various projects across the UK. The successful candidate will conduct asbestos sampling, reinspections, management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on domestic, commercial, and industrial properties.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Conduct asbestos surveys and sampling in accordance with HSG and company procedures
  • Collect site data, transport asbestos samples to UKAS accredited laboratories, and complete survey reports and drawings using company software
  • Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support as needed
  • Liaise with Asbestos Surveying Quality, Contracts, Projects Managers, and Supervisor as required

Requirements:

  • BOHS P qualification (or equivalent) and Buildings surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos qualification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience post-qualification
  • Flexible approach to commute and out of hours work
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office packages and Asbestos data collection software (Alpha Tracker)
