Job Title: Asbestos Lead Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Asbestos Lead Surveyor to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting asbestos sampling, reinspections, management, refurbishment, and demolition surveys on a wide range of domestic, commercial, and industrial properties.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct asbestos sampling and reinspections in accordance with HSG and company procedures.
  • Collect site data, transport asbestos samples to UKAS accredited laboratories, and complete asbestos survey reports and drawings using company software.
  • Build and maintain client relationships, providing specialist advice and technical support when required.
  • Liaise with Asbestos Surveying Quality, Contracts, Projects Managers, and Supervisor as needed.
  • Set a personal example and promote the company in a professional manner at all times.
Requirements:
  • BOHS P (or equivalent) Buildings surveys and Bulk Sampling for Asbestos qualification.
  • Minimum of 1 year's experience post-qualification.
  • Flexible approach to commute and out of hours work.
  • Flexibility in working various shift changes and traveling to various sites throughout the UK and at times offshore.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and Asbestos data collection software (currently Alpha Tracker).
  • Experience in collecting data using hand-held mobile devices.
  • Literacy/Numeracy to Company standards.
