About the Opportunity:
A brilliant school in Swindon has a vacancy for an enthusiastic individual to take on the role of an SEN Teaching Assistant. The school supports students with complex needs, learning disabilities as well as SEMH needs. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, the candidate will be responsible for supporting students 1-1 throughout the school day, encouraging them to maintain focus and work towards achieving independence and life skills.

This role is a highly important position within the school due to the relationships built between the SEN Teaching Assistant and the students. We are looking for a candidate who can work under their own initiative, have emotional intelligence, and a genuine interest in seeing the pupils succeed. The SEN Teaching Assistant will work with a singular student on a 1:1 basis, alongside a specialist SEN Teacher and a second SEN Teaching Assistant. This opportunity would be invaluable experience for criminology/psychology graduates looking for an open door into the industry and have an interest in how support and prevention can improve young people's development and keep them on a positive path in society.

Responsibilities and Requirements:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to students with complex needs, learning disabilities, and SEMH requirements. They will work closely with the support staff and on-site professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for the students. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under their own initiative.

Benefits:
