**Job Description**

We are seeking an exceptional Core Subject Tutor to join our team and deliver bespoke tuition packages on a 1:1 basis to secondary and Primary aged young people that are currently without a school placement.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with disengaged, at-risk, and vulnerable learners, creating tailored lesson plans to bridge gaps in KS1 - KS4 education and boost engagement and attainment levels.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • QTS or equivalent qualification
  • UK classroom teaching experience
  • A creative, patient, and outside-the-box approach to teaching
  • Experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils

**Benefits**

This part-time or full-time position offers a competitive rate of pay of £22 per hour, flexible working hours, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.

**Contract Details**

This contract is temporary, with a duration until the pupil can reintegrate into a new school placement. The successful candidate will work within the community or pupils' home in Southwark, with working hours differing depending on family convenience.
