We Are Swim is seeking a passionate and dedicated Swimming Teacher to join our team of experienced instructors. As a Swimming Teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children aged 3-11 years, inspiring them to develop a lifelong love of swimming.
Main Responsibilities:
- Plan and deliver engaging swimming lessons, adhering to our established scheme of work and lesson plans.
- Integrate our reward schemes into classes, motivating swimmers to reach their full potential.
- Ensure the safe provision of equipment and its correct use.
- Conduct dynamic risk assessments and maintain high safety standards during sessions.
- Assess swimmers' abilities and provide personalized feedback to help them improve.
- Develop and demonstrate modern swimming techniques, creating a positive and fun learning environment.
- Evaluate sessions and provide constructive feedback to improve teaching methods.
- Regularly assess swimmers' progress and arrange for the award of certificates using our online portal.
Requirements:
- Enthusiasm and a positive attitude towards swimming.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to inspire confidence and motivate swimmers.
- Perseverance and patience when working with children.
- Flexibility to work weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
