Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist Community Occupational Therapist to join our team in providing crisis intervention services.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Therapist to work as part of a multidisciplinary team, delivering specialist assessments and interventions to individuals in crisis.

Main Responsibilities

  • To conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' occupational needs and develop personalized plans to promote independence and safety.
  • To provide advanced specialist occupational therapy input, including home visits and virtual ward assessments.
  • To collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery and effective communication.
  • To maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to the development of robust clinical governance frameworks.
  • To participate in MDT meetings, family conferences, and other forums as required.

Requirements

  • Recognized Occupational Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent
  • UK Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Registration
  • Minimum 6 years post-registration experience
  • Evidence of recent Continuing Professional and Personal Development
  • Wide range of experience in different settings, including community care

Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £56,949 per annum, depending on experience.
