Job Title: Asset / Reliability Technician

At Simpson Booth Limited, we are seeking a highly skilled Asset / Reliability Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our global user base.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. IT Support: Collaborate with our global team to deliver exceptional IT support services to our users, ensuring seamless access to our systems and applications.
  2. Hardware and Software Deployment: Design, build, and deploy user workstations, installing necessary applications and utilities to meet our users' needs.
  3. Troubleshooting and Resolution: Investigate, diagnose, and resolve complex issues related to hardware, software, and connected devices, minimizing downtime and ensuring business continuity.
  4. User Account Management: Create and manage 365 user accounts, allocating appropriate licensing and configuring mailboxes to ensure efficient and secure access to our systems.
  5. Onsite and Remote Support: Provide local and remote support to our global user base, ensuring timely and effective resolution of technical issues.
  6. Mobile Telephony Support: Support our mobile telephony estate, ordering and configuring devices, enrolling devices in MDM, and providing end-user guidance to ensure seamless mobile connectivity.
  7. Connectivity Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot connectivity issues, including LAN, WAN, and WIFI, to ensure reliable and efficient communication.
  8. Service Desk Management: Manage service desk tickets efficiently and effectively, adhering to SLAs and ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.
  9. QHSE Compliance: Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all CRCE/Site QHSE project-related procedures, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Associate's Degree/HND in a related discipline.
  • Skills: Problem-solving using logical and systematic approaches, customer service, and analytical thinking.
  • Technical Experience: Experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft Office suite, basic PC/notebook hardware support, antivirus technology, and procedures.
