Flood Risk Engineering Manager

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Flood Risk and Drainage professional to join our team at Anderselite. As the Head of Flood Risk and Drainage, you will play a key role in shaping the growth of our flood risk services and leading a team of engineers and technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow a team of engineers and technical staff to deliver flood risk management projects.
- Provide expert technical guidance on flood risk assessments, modelling, and mitigation.
- Review and approve technical reports, models, and analyses.
- Oversee flood risk projects from planning through to execution.
- Develop and implement effective flood mitigation strategies, including sustainable surface and foul water drainage designs.
- Develop and manage resources and budgets for flood risk projects and initiatives.
- Lead the organisation's response to flood emergencies, coordinating with emergency services and other agencies.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in flood risk management and engineering.
- Strong technical knowledge of flood risk assessments, modelling, and mitigation.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to communicate complex technical information to stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
