Job Description

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join our client's team on a long-term contract. The successful candidate will support students with autism and significant delays in academic and social abilities.

About the Client

LTF Recruitment are working with an 'Outstanding' Primary school in Haringey to find the right candidate for this role. The school has a strong focus on providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supporting students with autism and significant delays in academic and social abilities.
  • Maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment.
  • Working in a class of 8 pupils alongside another experienced SEN TA and a specialist SEN Teacher.

The successful candidate will have good ASD knowledge and experience working with students who have speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). Familiarity with PECS and Makaton would be an advantage.
