Estate Management Specialist

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly motivated Estate Management Specialist (Electrical Bias) to join our Estates Department at Scunthorpe General Hospital. As part of our proactive Estates Management team, you will play a vital role in meeting our Trust's objectives in a safe, cost-effective, and efficient manner, while ensuring compliance with legislation and good practice.
As an Estate Management Specialist, you will report directly to the Senior Estates Manager and provide effective management and leadership support for the team of Estates Officers and other Estates staff. You will be responsible for managing data and information to ensure an economic quality service, ensuring compliance with Trust standards, procedures, and legislation.
The primary function of this role is to carry out AP duties in line with relevant appointment and HTM requirements. Additionally, you will support the Senior Estates Manager in their role and deputise as required, providing senior engineering support and acting as a role model for other members of the maintenance team.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out AP duties in line with relevant appointment and HTM requirements;
- Support the Senior Estates Manager in their role and deputise as required;
- Functional management of junior staff members;
- Responsible for training and mentoring of estates team, toolbox talks within respective discipline;
- Provide senior engineering support and act as a role model for other members of the maintenance team;
- Cross-site responsibilities in accordance with the respective appointed AP function and have a detailed understanding of sites;
- Lv/HV;
- Responsible for specific oversight and completion of AP action logs;
- Technical support to projects;
- Provide technical reports and solutions;
- Be regularly engaged with the Authorising Engineer.
We offer a competitive salary of £55,000 - £65,000 per annum, depending on experience, and a range of benefits including flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive work environment.
