At HSBC, we're seeking a skilled Mortgage Administrator to join our Wealth and Personal Banking business. This is an exciting opportunity to establish and grow our mortgage and protection business by providing professional advice to customers.

About the Role

We are looking for someone with a track record in the Mortgage and Lending environment who can deliver high-quality, customer-driven service by identifying customers' needs for mortgage and mortgage-related protection products and advice.

The successful candidate will work out of our Oxford branch, collaborating with colleagues and customers in a friendly and welcoming environment. You will provide an agile and flexible service to customers, meeting their needs within their channel of choice.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have strong communication skills, be able to listen to customers to understand their current and future mortgage and protection needs, and make referrals to other areas of the bank where necessary.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional advice to customers on mortgage and protection products
  • Identify customers' needs and recommend suitable mortgage and protection solutions
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver high-quality service to customers
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and product sales
Requirements

We are looking for someone with:

  • A track record in the Mortgage and Lending environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Flexibility to work variable hours to meet customer needs
