The Opportunity

The Project Manager role is a key delivery role, reporting into a Sub-Portfolio Manager within the Defence Business Unit and requires a high level of expertise in project management.

The ideal candidate will have experience in delivering complex projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage project teams to deliver projects on time, within budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and maintain project plans, including project schedules, budgets and resource allocation.
  • Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Manage project stakeholders, including customers, suppliers and internal teams.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as relevant laws and regulations.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, including financial performance and quality metrics.

Requirements

  • APM PMQ qualification or equivalent.
  • Experience in delivering complex projects, with a strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate project risks and issues.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with multiple priorities and deadlines.
