About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Compliance Officer to join our team at Uniting People. As a key member of our compliance function, you will play a critical role in ensuring we maintain the highest standards of regulatory compliance.

Job Description

The successful candidate will have a strong background in compliance and risk management, with experience working in a regulated environment. Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Head of Compliance in the provision of timely and accurate regulatory advice;
  • Leading compliance monitoring activities, including customer journey reviews and second-line monitoring;
  • Coordinating responses to client audits and information requests;
  • Logging and documenting events and their potential impacts;
  • Providing support for regulatory gap analysis and advisory activities;
  • Collating accurate information for regulatory reporting requirements;
  • Providing SME support to the business on internal projects;
  • Supporting breach and incident investigations as required.

The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
