We are recruiting freelance interpreters to work in various settings, including the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations. Our company, Language Empire, provides professional interpreting and translation services to the UK market.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting for people using legal, health, and local government services
  • Checking non-English speakers' understanding after each sentence
  • Conference, consecutive, and public service interpreting
  • Dealing with highly confidential information
  • Liaising between the service user and service provider

Requirements:

  • Fluent in English and another language
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Aged 21 or over
  • Formal qualifications such as DPSI, Community Interpreting, or a degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages
