Key Responsibilities- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs on a range of vehicles, including ambulances, light commercial vehicles, and heavy goods vehicles.
- Diagnose and rectify faults using electronic diagnosis equipment and technical knowledge.
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet deadlines and maintain high standards of quality.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Stay up-to-date with manufacturer training and certification requirements.
- City & Guilds/BTEC/NVQ3 in Motor Vehicle Technology or equivalent.
- Accreditation in relevant manufacturers' training courses and Certification of Competence.
- Extensive knowledge of vehicle specifications and equipment.
- Auto electrical, welding, and fabrication techniques and procedures.
- Good knowledge of fleet workshop policies, procedures, and practices.
- Preparation and repair work to MOT specification.
- Ability to speak Welsh.
