Job Title: Electronics Development Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Electronics Development Engineer to join our team at the Andretti Cadillac facility in Silverstone. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing bespoke electronic hardware for on and off-car systems, internal test facilities, and rigs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design and development of electronic hardware for on and off-car systems.
  • Specify instrumentation for on and off-car systems.
  • Provide technical input into the development of new technologies with partners and suppliers.
  • Engage in the definition of car electronics systems architecture.
  • Resolve electronic system faults.

Requirements:

  • A degree in a relevant discipline (Engineering/Electronics) or similar.
  • Experience with the design of low volume prototype analogue and digital electronic circuits.
  • Experience with PCB schematic design.
  • Experience with motorsport data logging systems, preferably F1 SECU.
  • Experience with automotive electronic systems, CAN and sensing technologies.
  • Ability to plan and manage own workloads.
  • Clear and concise communication.
  • Self-motivated, innovative and capable of working generally unsupervised to challenging deadlines.
  • Strong levels of IT skills including MS Office, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
