Chartwells is looking for a skilled Kitchen Leader to join our team. As a Kitchen Leader, you will be responsible for managing kitchen operations, developing menus, and leading a team of chefs to achieve our business objectives.

The estimated salary for this role is around £48,000-£58,000 per annum, depending on experience. You will work closely with our chefs and kitchen teams to deliver exceptional food experiences, maintaining high levels of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of chefs, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the highest standards of quality and presentation
  • Manage kitchen budgets and resources, ensuring efficient use of supplies and equipment
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through effective communication and problem-solving

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a senior chef or kitchen leader in a similar industry
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and customers
  • A passion for delivering exceptional food experiences and exceeding customer expectations
