Unreal Gigs is seeking a highly skilled Energy Storage Expert to join our team. As an Energy Storage Expert, you will be responsible for designing and developing energy storage systems that maximize the efficiency and scalability of renewable energy projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience with energy storage systems, including lithium-ion, flow batteries, pumped hydro, or compressed air storage. You will work closely with renewable energy teams, engineers, and grid operators to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions with solar, wind, and other renewable energy systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Energy Storage Solutions: Lead the design and development of energy storage systems, ensuring reliable energy availability and maximum storage capacity and reliability.
  • Optimize Storage Efficiency and Performance: Analyze storage performance data to identify opportunities for optimizing energy storage systems and improving energy density, charge/discharge rates, efficiency, and system longevity.
  • Conduct Feasibility Studies and Technical Assessments: Evaluate the feasibility of storage projects by conducting technical assessments and economic analyses, assessing factors such as site suitability, energy requirements, grid connection, and environmental impact.
  • Integrate Storage Systems with Renewable Energy Sources: Collaborate with renewable energy teams to seamlessly integrate storage solutions with solar, wind, and other renewable energy systems, ensuring grid stability and maximizing renewable energy utilization.
  • Stay Updated on Emerging Technologies and Industry Trends: Research advancements in energy storage technology, including solid-state batteries, flow batteries, and grid-scale solutions, to keep storage solutions at the cutting edge of the renewable energy industry.
  • Ensure Compliance and Safety Standards: Oversee the implementation of safety protocols and compliance with regulations related to energy storage systems, ensuring that all projects meet industry standards, including environmental and safety guidelines.
  • Provide Technical Support and Training: Offer technical support to teams involved in energy storage deployment and maintenance, training personnel on system operations, safety protocols, and troubleshooting to ensure long-term reliability and performance.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience.
