Job Description
This apprenticeship provides an opportunity for individuals to develop their skills and knowledge in supporting students to accomplish their daily goals in various subjects. As a Teaching Assistant Apprentice, you will work closely with teachers to understand and support assessment, developing effective and informed practice. You will also safeguard and promote the health, safety, and welfare of children, as well as develop strategies for support.

Apprenticeship Details
You will be offered off-the-job training, which includes coursework, training, and shadowing. This will take place on approximately six hours per week. Upon successful completion of your apprenticeship, you will be awarded the Level 3 Teaching Assistant Apprenticeship. This qualification can then serve as a stepping stone to higher-level Teaching Assistant qualifications, such as the High-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) certification, or even a postgraduate teaching qualification.

Work Schedule
Your working week will be term-time only, with set hours from 8:00 am to 3:45 pm, Monday through Friday, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break. Please note that these hours are subject to change based on the needs of the school.
