Experienced Trustee Pensions Manager Opportunity

BWD Search & Selection is working with an international manufacturing company to find an experienced Trustee Pensions Manager to join their in-house UK Pensions team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with the possibility of extensions and permanent transfers.

The ideal candidate will have strong UK DB Pensions scheme experience and expertise in Trustee Boards, including acting as Trustee Secretary, preparing papers, taking minutes, and following up actions. They will also have experience in managing 3rd party providers, pensions management, project management, and staying up-to-date with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 6 different schemes covering DB and DC, with exposure to the wider trustee board responsibilities
  • Act as Trustee Secretary, prepare papers, take minutes, and follow up actions
  • Manage 3rd party providers, pensions management, and project management
  • Stay up-to-date with current regulations and best practices
Requirements
  • 5 years minimum experience in DB Pension Scheme administration, governance, and trustee meetings
  • Confident self-starter with excellent written skills and a desire to learn and develop pensions and benefits knowledge
  • Pension-related qualification, such as PMI or CPC, or a desire to obtain one
