Experienced Pensions Professional Sought for In-House UK Pensions Team

BWD Search & Selection is working with an international manufacturing company to find an experienced Trustee Pensions Manager to join their in-house UK Pensions team. This is a 12-month fixed-term contract with opportunities for extensions and potential permanent transfers.

The ideal candidate will have strong UK DB Pensions scheme experience and expertise in Trustee Boards, including acting as Trustee Secretary, preparing papers, taking minutes, and following up actions. They will also have experience managing 3rd party providers, pensions management, project management, and staying up-to-date with current regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage 6 different schemes covering DB and DC, with exposure to wider trustee board responsibilities
  • Act as Trustee Secretary, preparing papers, taking minutes, and following up actions
  • Manage 3rd party providers, pensions management, project management, and stay up-to-date with current regulations
Requirements:
  • 5 years minimum in DB Pension Scheme administration experience, governance, and trustee meetings
  • PMI qualified or willingness to obtain
  • Confident self-starter with excellent written skills and desire to learn and develop pensions and benefits knowledge
