Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and creative Residential Activities Coordinator to join our team at Lancashire County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a variety of individual and group activities that promote independence, well-being, and social engagement among our residents.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Plan and Deliver Activities: Lead and motivate residents in activities that help maintain their social skills and independence, whether on a one-to-one basis or in groups.
  • Community Engagement: Assist in planning and accompanying residents on outings, trips, and community engagements.
  • Record Keeping: Contribute to maintaining accurate records and reports, including individual support plans and activity logs.
  • Team Participation: Attend review meetings and participate in team meetings to ensure cohesive and effective care delivery.
