Company Overview: Our Energy Division delivers design, construction, maintenance of projects in public and private sectors, including health, education, commercial, decarbonisation, and PV works.

Job Summary: We are seeking a Technical Design Manager to lead a team of M&E designers and Sector Material Experts, providing pre and post-contract support to the division and clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver design and advisory services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
  • Understand the whole life project cycle and have strong planning, organisational, and monitoring abilities.
  • Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  • Capable of passing an Enhanced DBS accreditation before employment.
  • A legal right to work in the UK.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of the Building Services industry, including alternative energy.
  • A recognised degree in mechanical or electrical engineering, ideally with membership to CIBSE.
  • Competent with MS programmes, CAD, BIM, and other related design software.
  • Able to demonstrate a minimum of 15 years' experience delivering design and construction in a similar role within the industry.
