Job Title: Technical Design Manager

Join our team at Construction Resources Limited as a Technical Design Manager, where you will lead a team of M&E designers and Sector Material Experts in delivering design and construction projects.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Technical Design Manager to lead our team in providing design and expert advice to internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical or electrical engineering, with a recognized degree and membership to CIBSE.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver all design and advisory services to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain and build up a good working relationship with internal and external stakeholders, including colleagues, customers, suppliers, and senior management teams.
  • Understand the whole life project cycle and have strong planning, organisational, and monitoring abilities.
  • Have a strong orientation towards quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
  • Be adaptable and flexible in your approach to work.
  • Capable of passing an Enhanced DBS accreditation before employment.
  • Able to demonstrate a minimum of 15 years' experience delivering design and construction in a similar role within the industry.
Requirements:
  • Strong knowledge of the Building Services industry, including alternative energy.
  • Competent with MS programmes, CAD, BIM, and other related design software.
