Job Title: Japanese Games Tester

Are you passionate about video games and proficient in Japanese? Do you have a keen eye for detail and a focus on quality? We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese Games Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking.

About the Role:

As a Japanese Games Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that games and applications are free from linguistic bugs and provide the best user experience. You will work closely with our QA team to identify and report issues, and collaborate with developers to ensure that bugs are fixed and implemented correctly.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness
  • Use industry-standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports
  • Collaborate with QA team to ensure that bugs are fixed and implemented correctly
  • Participate in test requirement gathering with developers
  • Actively participate in continuous improvement and knowledge of LQA workflow and techniques
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in Japanese language
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Passion for video games
  • Ability to work under pressure within tight deadlines
  • Pro-active, tenacious, and enthusiastic approach
  • Focus on quality and keen eye for detail
  • Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite
