About the Role:We are seeking a highly skilled Game Tester to join our team at Universally Speaking. As a Game Tester, you will be responsible for ensuring that games and applications provide the best user experience by being linguistically bug-free.
Key Responsibilities:- Check in-game text for linguistic accuracy and correctness, and ensure it adheres to cultural rules.
- Use a variety of industry-standard bug databases to write detailed bug reports.
- Manage, create, and regularly execute test cases throughout the project life cycle.
- Participate in test requirement gathering with developers to ensure Localisation QA effectively tests and supports all project features.
- Expertise in Japanese.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.
- Passion for video games.
- Focus on quality and a keen eye for detail.
- Proficiency with computers – word processing, database handling, record keeping, and a good working knowledge of MS Office Suite.
- Training and development opportunities.
