Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Cocoa MEL Program Manager to join our team at ENGINEERINGUK. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for leading Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning (MEL) initiatives in the cocoa industry.

Your Role

  • Act as the go-to expert on MEL for the Cocoa Sustainability team.
  • Develop and manage efficient data collection, analysis, and knowledge management systems.
  • Lead submissions for internal and external sustainability reporting.
  • Partner with cocoa sustainability experts and commercial stakeholders to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Advocate for Mars in cross-industry platforms, shaping standards for sustainability reporting and learning.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of sustainability challenges and data collection techniques in smallholder farming contexts.
  • Track record of generating insights for corporate sustainability reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools like R, Python, Power BI, Tableau, or SQL.
  • Master's degree (or equivalent experience) in international development, sustainability, economics, statistics, or related fields.
  • Language proficiency in French and Spanish.
  • Strong mentoring and coaching skills to develop MEL capabilities within a global team.
