We are seeking a skilled Multisensory Support Specialist to join our team at Philosophy Education. As a Post-16 college, we provide high-quality support services for students with Special Educational Needs.

The successful candidate will work on a 1 to 1 basis with a student who requires Makaton support in a dynamic and supportive environment. This is a temp to perm contract available, offering an estimated salary of £74,000 - £101,600 per annum, based on £140 - £190 per day.

About the Role:
  • Provide individualised Makaton support in a Post-16 college setting
  • Monitor and record progress
  • Offer feedback to teaching staff and parents
Requirements:
  1. Prior experience working with students with MLD, SLD, Autism, and behavioural needs
  2. Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships with students and staff
  3. Ability to undertake five days of training provided by the Local Authority prior to starting the position
