Job Details

We are recruiting for a Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for providing individualized support to students with special educational needs in a school setting.

The Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will work closely with teachers and other support staff to:

  • Develop and implement personalized learning plans that cater to the unique needs of each student
  • Provide academic support to students in small group or one-on-one settings
  • Assist teachers with lesson preparation, implementation, and assessment
  • Monitor student progress and report back to teachers and parents

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • A strong understanding of SEND principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Salary and Benefits

In return for your dedication and hard work, we offer a competitive salary of £25,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including:

Where You Will Be Based

This role is based in Northamptonshire, where you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of schools and provisions, including primary, secondary, SEN, and SEMH settings.
