Social Work Professional

Southwark Council's Children's Social Care department is currently recruiting for a Social Work Professional to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) team.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children and families by working collaboratively with partner agencies to identify and address risks and needs.
As a Social Work Professional, you will be responsible for carrying out assessment of referrals, conducting MASH Intelligence Checks, and evaluating risk and need levels through data analysis.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of child development, parenting capacity, environmental issues, and risk and protective factors, and will be able to apply this knowledge in a fast-paced environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications- A recognised Social Work Qualification or equivalent.
- Current registration with Social Work England.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
