Parts Advisor Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Parts Advisor to join our team at Steer Automotive Group. As a key member of our Stratford-upon-Avon site, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient sourcing, ordering, and distribution of vehicle parts for our repair team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure vehicle parts from suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and maintaining strong relationships with key vendors.
- Assist customers and technicians in identifying and supplying the correct parts, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Manage parts inventory, conducting regular audits to ensure accurate stock levels and maintaining a well-organized parts department.
- Process parts orders and ensure all necessary documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Parts Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
- Excellent understanding of automotive parts and the ability to identify parts based on diagrams or schematics.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to communicate effectively with suppliers, technicians, and customers.
- Proficiency in using parts ordering and inventory management systems.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
