Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client's busy manufacturing plant near Willenhall. As an Electrical Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for performing electrical maintenance activities in a heavy industry manufacturing environment.

The Role:

  • Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will undertake scheduled and reactive electrical maintenance activities on a wide range of plant and machinery.
  • You will be responsible for electrical fault finding and repair, maintenance, and service of:
    • Electrical maintenance and repair of industrial drives and controls systems
    • Fault finding and repair on a wide range of plant and equipment, including CNC and Robot machinery
    • Assisting with machine installations
    • Maintenance of motors, contactors, sensors, relays, switchgear, etc.
    • Site facilities electrical maintenance and repair
    • Performing PPM and accurately recording activities
  • You will work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of the manufacturing plant.

Requirements:

  • You will have a recognized electrical engineering qualification, such as NVQ 3 or 18th edition electrical installation regulations.
  • You will have excellent single and three-phase electrical fault finding and repair skills.
  • Applicants with good CNC or PLC controls experience will have an advantage.
  • You will hold 18th edition certification (or equivalent) and candidates with NVQ level 3 in electrical engineering will be preferred.

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday
  • 6am to 1.30pm and 1.30pm to 9pm (Rotating)
  • Overtime available
