About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the Nags Head. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food quality and service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and motivate your team to achieve high standards of food preparation and presentation.
  • Work closely with the Head Chef to develop and implement menus, manage food ordering and stock control, and ensure compliance with health and hygiene regulations.
  • Train and develop your team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive team culture.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent role in a high-volume kitchen environment.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and maintain high standards in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
