About the Job:

We are seeking a skilled Customer Service Ambassador to join our team at FirstGroup. As a key member of our station staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our passengers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • You will approach customers in the station concourse and offer assistance with purchasing tickets, as well as recommending the best routes for their journey.
  • Proactively assist customers with self-service machines, ensuring they purchase the correct ticket for their journey while educating them on how to use the machine.
  • This role involves using various technologies and performing routine maintenance on ticket vending machines.
  • As your experience grows, you will become knowledgeable about our services, destinations, attractions, and London transport.
  • You will need to be flexible in your approach and willing to perform a variety of tasks to ensure the quality and safety standards our customers expect.
  • To support you in delivering great customer service, we provide excellent training and development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Organized, proactive, and able to efficiently prioritize tasks.
  • Able to cope with repetitive tasks under pressure.
  • Great communication skills and the ability to work with people.
  • Confident and happy to approach new people.
  • PASSIONATE ABOUT DOING THE RIGHT THING – NOTHING IS TOO MUCH TROUBLE.

Salary and Benefits:
