Unlock Your Expertise in Offshore Wind Turbine Engineering

Vestas is seeking a highly skilled Performance Engineer to join our team in Videbaek, DK, Warrington, GB, or Husum, DE. As a key member of our Performance Engineering department, you will play a critical role in improving the performance of our wind turbines.

About the Role

  • Analyze wind turbine performance data to identify areas for improvement
  • Develop and implement projects to enhance turbine performance on a global level
  • Collaborate with service regions to create mitigation actions and reduce Loss of Performance Factor (LPF)
  • Act as a liaison between engineering functions and service, driving product improvements from a service perspective
  • Ensure technical knowledge is shared within technical support and service

Requirements

  • Technical degree or equivalent in electrical, mechanical, or marine engineering
  • Fluency in English, both verbally and in writing
  • Experience with V Offshore Platform
  • Knowledge of wind turbine control systems (VOB, Toolkit, VTM, etc.) is a plus
  • Statistical or data analysis experience
  • Working experience from the wind industry, e.g., as a service technician, commissioning supervisor, or installation supervisor
