About the Role
The Galapagos Conservation Trust is seeking an experienced fundraiser to drive the development and implementation of our membership, corporate fundraising, and regenerative tourism strategies. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for growing our membership base, developing and delivering high-quality communications to members and tourism contacts, and managing our contact database (CRM) to refine our membership, supporter, and corporate data tracking processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a growth strategy for GCT's membership, targeting increased income and supporter retention
- Work with the Individual Giving Fundraiser to develop and deliver high-quality communications to members and tourism contacts
- Manage GCT's contact database (CRM) to refine our membership, supporter, and corporate data tracking processes
- Ensure robust administration of membership, supporter, and corporate income, with an 'all-hands-on-deck' attitude during busy income processing times
- Support the Senior Philanthropy Manager in donor relationship management, ensuring a strong donor journey at all levels
- Provide strategic input to the CEO for ongoing membership, tourism, and corporate fundraising strategy delivery and development
- Review and relaunch GCT's corporate membership/sponsorship scheme in 2025, linking with GCT's 30th Anniversary
- Support the development and implementation of GCT's first Galapagos Regenerative Tourism Partner initiative
- Continue recruitment and cultivation of GCT's corporate partners from the travel industry and other industries
About You
We are looking for an experienced fundraiser with a true passion for conservation and a track record in membership management and/or corporate fundraising. You will have excellent communication and customer service skills, experience in CRM systems and data tracking processes, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. A degree in a relevant field and a proven ability to meet targets and deadlines are essential.
What We Offer
We offer a competitive salary of £32,000 - £37,000 depending on experience, 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, and the opportunity to work for a leading conservation charity.
