Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Debt Recovery Professional based in Poulton-Le-Fylde, FY6 8JX. The successful candidate will work within the Operations department and be responsible for delivering high-quality debt recovery services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively communicate with commercial energy consumers to negotiate settlements or alternative resolutions.
  • Analyse customer queries to prevent payment and resolve disputes between account holders and energy suppliers.
  • Negotiate and process payments, discussing payment plans to fruition.
  • Identify vulnerable customers and adapt approaches accordingly.
  • Evaluate non-compliant customers and escalate cases to the next operational step.
  • Achieve Management and Client KPIs.
  • Manage own portfolio throughout.
  • Provide outstanding customer service.

Requirements:

  • Excellent organisational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver accurate information.
  • Presentation, approachability, and good telephony skills.
  • Motivated and able to manage workload efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
  • Good credit control and debt recovery capabilities.

What We Offer:

$40,000 OTE (£25,000 - £27,000 + generous commission). Full-time position with 35.25 hours per week, Monday to Thursday 08:45-16:45 and Friday 08:45-16:00.
