Dental Nurse Opportunity

Smileplus Dental Care is looking for a skilled Dental Nurse to join our team at our Corstophine practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.

You will be working alongside our experienced clinicians to deliver high-quality patient care and ensure the smooth operation of our practice and surgeries.

Responsibilities

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing chair-side support in day-to-day activities within the practice and surgeries
  • Maintaining accurate patient records using the internal system (Software of Excellence)
  • Ensuring surgery setup is appropriate for each session to maximise efficiency
  • Anticipating clinician and patient requirements in advance, ensuring necessary lab work and equipment are in place
  • Monitoring surgery stocks to maintain optimal levels
  • Performing reception duties when required, including answering phone calls and making appointments

Requirements

  • GDC registration is mandatory
  • Previous experience in Private practice is preferred but not essential
  • Commitment to providing exceptional patient care
  • Able to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Enthusiastic and eager to learn and develop new skills

Salary

The salary for this position is £22,000 - £27,000 per annum, with room for career progression.
