About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Software Engineer to join our Corporate Technology team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a Software Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and delivering software components of our state-of-the-art technology products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop software solutions using Java and other modern programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software development projects.
  • Develop and maintain high-quality production code, ensuring security and scalability.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of coding standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements and develop software solutions that meet their needs.
Requirements
  • Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts.
  • Hands-on experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.
  • Proficiency in Java and other modern programming languages.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with cloud technologies.
  • Knowledge of modern front-end technologies, such as React/Angular/Spring.
  • Proficiency in coding in one or more languages, with a preference for Java.
