We're seeking a skilled District Retail Merchandising Specialist to join our team in the North Liverpool area. As a key member of our field-based retail merchandising team, you'll work with high street retailers on behalf of leading household name brands.

Your primary responsibility will be to fill coverage gaps across a defined district, visiting multiple retail outlets to meet district and regional targets. You'll ensure that fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and shelves are well-stocked.

This role is ideal for someone with a passion for merchandising, retail, and customer service. You'll need to be comfortable with manual handling, moving and arranging products from the warehouse to the shopfloor.

We're looking for someone who is flexible, with a full UK driving licence and access to a car that can be used for business purposes. You'll need to be available for Thursday mornings from 8am and be willing to accept home deliveries of point of sale or stock items for some visits.

As a District Retail Merchandising Specialist, you'll be responsible for:

  • Compliance and Standards: You'll know and stick to merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures, and health and safety guidance.
  • Product Placement and Replenishment: You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal.
  • Promotional and Point of Sale Setup: You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers.
  • Strong Communication and Relationship Building: You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers.
