Primary School Intervention Teaching Assistant

We are seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at a supportive primary school in Waltham Forest, London. The successful candidate will provide support to the inclusion team and class teachers, leading interventions to a caseload of pupils both on a 1:1 and small group basis.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the inclusion team and class teachers in and out of the classroom
  • Lead interventions to a caseload of pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
  • Work with children with SEN and raise attainment in and out of the classroom

Requirements:

  • Experience working as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
  • Experience working with children with SEN or as a general teaching assistant completing group and 1:1 interventions
  • Ability to work in a creative and supportive environment
