Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for executing planograms that enhance customer shopping experiences, providing a customer and operational perspective on display within categories, and partnering with the supply chain to deliver product space that meets 'best in town' display principles and cost targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute planograms that make product areas easy for customers to shop and support 'best in town' display principles.
  • Provide a customer and operational perspective on display within categories.
  • Partner with the supply chain to deliver product space that meets 'best in town' display principles and cost targets.
  • Ensure the delivery of planograms to agreed timeframes through effective workload management.
  • Partner with the New Product Development team to ensure products align with strategy.
  • Work with the Range Planner to finalize optimum range for given space.
  • Create and execute maintenance of 'best in town' category planograms, ensuring they are updated to agreed critical path and display principles.
  • Analyze product and store inventory data to determine the best attribution of micro space, optimizing operational efficiency and shelf fill.
  • Manage product attributes and customer decision trees to support execution of relevant displays and ranges.
  • Maintain up-to-date product images and dimensions.
  • Attend operational meetings to discuss display rules and provide input on range distribution changes.
  • Work with the Space Planner to refine allocated space.
  • Provide display-related management information, such as shelf efficiency, product 'look and feel,' ease of shop, customer blocking, and recommendations for potential enhancements.
  • Understand and support the supply chain by providing the team with range distribution changes and cost-to-fills within critical path timeframes.
  • Play a key role in managing the display strategy with buyers and NPD, making recommendations in line with display principles and defining product attributes.
  • Conduct competitor store visits regularly to review implementation of displays, gain store feedback, and identify potential improvements and opportunities.
Requirements
  • Excellent project management skills.
  • Food category and customer knowledge to ensure focused displays.
  • Excellent analysis and problem-solving skills.
  • Good stakeholder management skills.
  • Detailed knowledge of the Space Range and Display processes and critical paths.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite, including Microsoft Excel and Power BI.
  • Food Analytics Query Tool (Business Objects).
  • JDA Suite, including Space Planning, Assortment Optimization, and Intactix Knowledge Database.
