We are seeking highly motivated and talented individuals to join our Naval Architecture Graduate Programme, providing them with the opportunity to embark on an exciting journey of professional growth and development.



About the Programme

This two-year rotation will give you hands-on experience in some of the most complex engineering projects worldwide. You will be at the centre of defining your path through the programme, identifying placements that suit your career ambitions, guided by a professional mentor and supported by the early careers team every step of the way.



Key Responsibilities

  • You will work alongside experienced naval architects and structural engineers, learning how to analyse and design various aspects of floating vessels and structures.
  • Previous graduates have worked on a wide range of projects, including naval ships, submarines, small boats, commercial vessels, and platforms.
  • You will have opportunities to further the field of Naval Architecture through research, attending and presenting at industry-recognised conferences.
  • Our emphasis is on continuous professional development, supporting you towards Chartered Engineer status and linking with professional and academic institutions within the field.


Requirements

  • A BEng (Hons) degree accredited by RINA/IMarEST is desirable.
  • We also accept applications from a wide range of STEM-based degrees, such as Structural Engineering, Material Sciences, and Mathematics.
  • You must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance and many roles require Security Clearance.
