The Opportunity

As Director of Religious Curriculum Development, you will play a crucial role in shaping our students' academic and character education. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Setting, monitoring, and evaluating pupil progress in KS3 and KS4 public examinations to contribute positively to whole-school performance.
  • Leading curriculum development of KS3 RE, core RE at KS4, and GCSE RE to ensure delivery of an appropriate, comprehensive, ambitious, resourced, high-quality, and cost-effective curriculum programme.
  • Driving departmental improvement that contributes positively to the achievement of the school development plan and actively involves staff in its direction and implementation.
  • Engaging all subject staff in consistent implementation of schemes of learning.
