Design Manager - Water Industry

Are you a design professional looking to shape the future of water treatment projects in the South West? As a Design Manager, you'll lead the design function for critical water schemes, collaborating closely with senior project teams.

Innovative Design Leadership:
  • Develop cutting-edge design solutions that align with client needs, in close partnership with project teams and subcontractors.
  • Apply your technical expertise and value engineering principles to drive design excellence.
Client Relationship Management:
  • Build and nurture strong client relationships from concept to delivery, ensuring smooth communication and meeting project expectations.
  • Utilize your project management expertise to deliver projects on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.
Performance Monitoring:
  • Track design progress using KPIs and ensure projects remain on track.
  • Monitor and report on design functions, applying your analytical skills to drive improvement.
Project Management Expertise:
  • Proven ability to manage, plan, and report on design functions with a clear focus on program delivery.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office, collaborative platforms, and experience with project management software like P6 (or similar).
Qualifications:
  • A degree in a relevant construction field and professional certifications such as C.Eng.
  • Strong background in the water industry and construction, with a deep understanding of technical design standards.
