Part-Time Qualified Accountant Role - A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to enjoy a varied role, whilst working part-time hours. This is a hybrid role that offers a mix of office-based and working from home, the hours and days are flexible and can be discussed at the interview.

Our client is a small and growing firm of Chartered Accountants with a diverse range of clients comprising primarily owner-managed businesses in the local area.

Due to continued growth, this is a new opportunity to join their team. You will have experience in Practice and, whilst ideally you will be ACA or ACCA Qualified, we also welcome applications from experienced QBE Accountants or ACA / ACCA Part Qualified Accountants.

This role can be tailored to your skills and strengths and offers plenty of variety and autonomy.

The core responsibilities will include:

  • Statutory Accounts Preparation for typically owner-managed businesses and Limited Companies.
  • Producing quarterly management accounts.
  • Ensuring that Corporation Tax and Quarterly VAT Returns are filed promptly.
  • Some basic Bookkeeping and Payroll.
  • Assisting with Personal Tax Returns.
  • General business support to clients.

About You:

You will already have at least three years of experience working for a firm of accountants and be comfortable preparing year-end accounts for companies and happy to prepare management accounts, tax returns and do some bookkeeping.

You must enjoy working closely with small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and be comfortable joining a small, dynamic team with a flexible working approach.

Package:

  • A very competitive salary is offered.
  • A healthy work-life balance - part-time hours are welcomed approximately 20 to 30 hours a week.
  • The salary of up to £30,000 to £45,000 pro rata has been set by Fletcher George as a guide.

Location:

The role is commutable from Kingston, Epsom, Esher, Surbiton, Wimbledon, South West London and surrounds.
