We are excited to announce an opportunity for a talented Wellness Programme Coordinator to join our team and support the development of a new approach to our GP Exercise on Referral Programme.

About the Role

This fixed-term, part-time position involves working closely with our Community Engagement Lead to simplify our Social Prescribing and GP Exercise on Referral approach into one programme. Key objectives include pilot delivery and self-funding.

Your Responsibilities
  1. Support the development of a streamlined programme framework for GP Exercise on Referral and Social Prescribing
  2. Contribute to the delivery of a pilot programme, focusing on sustainability and community engagement
  3. Assist with effective communication and coordination between teams and stakeholders
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., public health, exercise science)
  • At least 2 years of experience in programme coordination, preferably in healthcare or social services
  • Strong communication and organisational skills, with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a focus on delivering results and meeting deadlines
  • A strong understanding of healthcare policies and programmes, particularly those related to physical activity and wellbeing
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach
Salary & Benefits

The salary for this role is £28,000-£32,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including:
