Global Social Media Manager

As the Global Social Media Manager at YouGov, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy across various platforms to enhance brand awareness, foster engagement, and drive business growth. You will lead a team of two individuals and collaborate closely with Regional Marketing leads.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a global social media strategy aligned with company goals and values.
  • Manage and oversee social media accounts across platforms, ensuring consistency in brand voice and messaging.
  • Create, curate, and schedule engaging content that resonates with our target audience.
  • Monitor and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies to ensure our social media strategy remains cutting-edge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to align social media efforts with broader marketing and communication initiatives.
  • Serve as the primary expert and consultant for all channel managers and stakeholders regarding social media best practices and policies.
  • Manage social media advertising campaigns, optimizing for maximum ROI.
  • Develop brand awareness through other channels such as Reddit and Quora.
  • Track social media campaigns' key performance metrics to maximize results.
  • Manage the social media budget.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Social Media Manager with a track record of successful social media campaigns.
  • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms (especially LinkedIn), trends, and best practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an eye for compelling and creative content.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
  • Experience with social media management tools and analytics platforms (e.g. Oktopost).
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Solution-oriented initiative-taker, result-driven team player with strong advisory skills.
  • Strong understanding of marketing strategy and how to utilize these concepts throughout various forms of outreach.
  • Ability to manage and supervise a diverse group of employees and simultaneously work toward many company initiatives at once.
