Job Title: Forklift Driver
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Forklift Driver to join our team at Fortec Distribution Network. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift truck to transport and store goods in our pallet hub.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift truck to transport and store goods in a safe and efficient manner
- Ensure quality of load and transhipment of freight through the hub to its destination
- Perform routine pre-inspections to ensure equipment is suitable for use
- Report any non-compliance, accidents, or near misses
- Communicate with customer vehicle drivers as needed
- Compile reports for damaged product, poorly presented vehicles, or site damage
Requirements:
- Hold a valid FLT Licence
- Attention to detail
- Team player
- Experience of using scanning equipment or working at another pallet hub is beneficial but not essential
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 20:00p.m. - 04:30a.m.
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
