About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Forklift Driver to join our client's team in Dagenham. As a Forklift Driver, you will be responsible for operating a forklift to move, stack, and label materials efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a forklift to move, stack, and label materials efficiently and safely.
  • Load and unload trucks, performing quality checks on incoming and outgoing items.
  • Maintain inventory accuracy by keeping records of all materials moved or stored.
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production targets and deadlines.
  • Conduct regular maintenance checks on forklift equipment and report any issues to the supervisor.
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience as a Forklift Driver is essential.
  • Valid forklift operator certification.
  • Proficient in operating different types of forklifts, including counterbalance and reach trucks.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and a commitment to following them.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
